Many of our patients have been able to re-gain mobility and reduce pain without undergoing intense surgeries or long-term medications. The goal of physical therapy is to get you back to your desired daily activities!
Do I need a referral?
You do not need a referral to access physical therapy in Nevada. If possible, however, it is always best to receive a referral from your physician to expedite insurance approval.

Is my therapist licensed?
Yes! Physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are licensed by the state.
What happens during my first visit?
When you first arrive, you will go through registration where we will take copies of all necessary documents and you will fill out our intake forms. Please bring a valid form of ID, your current insurance card, a physician’s referral (if applicable), and other necessary documentation. After you are registered, you will be seen by a physical therapist where they will perform an initial objective exam and discuss your current issue. You will have a plan of care established based on the initial evaluation and your physician’s order.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a valid photo ID, current insurance card, a referral/prescription from your physician (if applicable). Please arrive early to allow time to complete our intake forms.
When should I arrive?
For your first appointment, we suggest arriving approximately 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete any necessary paperwork.
How long will each session be?
You will be scheduled for 60 minute sessions, the time in clinic may vary based on your personal plan of care.
What should I wear to my sessions?
For your first visit, please dress comfortably in clothing that will allow your therapist to easily examine the affected area. For follow up visits, we recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing that you are able to perform exercises in.
What types of treatment might I receive?
While in the clinic you may receive physical modalities as needed, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, manual manipulation, and dry needling. Therapeutic exercises are also implemented and you may be given a structured home exercise plan. Treatment is dependent on each clients needs.
How many visits will I need?
The amount of physical therapy sessions each patient needs will vary. Each patient has an individualized program and will be reassessed on a regular basis. Sometimes a patient will only need one visit, other patients may need months. The timeframe will be more clear for the physical therapist after an evaluation is performed.
Do I have to do home exercises?
In order to maximize the benefits from physical therapy, it is necessary to perform home exercises. These movements need to be reinforced each day in order to improve mobility.
What if my problem or pain returns?
It is not uncommon to experience a flare up. If this happens, please give us a call! It may be necessary to have you come in, return to your physician, or modify your daily routine.
