Owner & Director of Nevada Therapy Solutions

– Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro University Nevada, 2017
– 13 years in the physical therapy field
– Experience in outpatient, home health, acute care, and rehab settings

Greetings! I’m Danny Wilcox, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the owner of Nevada Therapy Solutions. Originally from Southern California, I moved to Henderson in 2014 to pursue my degree at Touro University Nevada. With over a decade of experience in the field, I have worked in various settings, including acute care, outpatient, rehabilitation, and home health. This diverse background has equipped me with a unique perspective and skill set to develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

While I highly value traditional physical therapy practices, I am always exploring new and innovative approaches to enhance patient outcomes. One such approach that I specialize in is trigger point dry needling, which can achieve incredible results in terms of pain relief and improved function.

Before starting my career in physical therapy, I was a collegiate runner and worked as a strength & conditioning coach for high school runners in my hometown of Corona, CA. Through my personal experiences with numerous running-related injuries, I developed a deep appreciation for the critical role of physical therapy in helping athletes and active individuals recover from injuries and achieve their full potential.

My approach to patient care is grounded in collaboration, education, and empowerment. By working closely with patients to create a personalized plan that considers their unique circumstances, goals, and challenges, I aim to educate and empower them to take an active role in their recovery. My goal is always to help patients take control of their health and achieve long-term improvements in their quality of life.

As a member of the physical therapy community, I am honored to follow in the footsteps of other great doctors and therapists who have devoted their lives to helping others. I am committed to upholding their legacy by providing the highest level of care to each and every patient who walks through my door.

  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) from Touro University, Henderson, NV in 2017.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Kinesiology, Pre-Med/PT emphasis from Biola University, La Mirada, CA in 2009.

With experience in a variety of settings, I have developed expertise in several areas of physical therapy specialization. I am particularly interested in trigger point dry needling, which I have found to be highly effective in relieving pain and improving range of motion for many patients. I am also passionate about endurance athlete rehabilitation, as it allows me to help athletes recover from injuries and improve their performance.

In addition to these areas, I have extensive experience in home health therapy, post-op rehab, pediatrics, and balance and fall prevention. I take pride in developing personalized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs, and I am committed to staying up-to-date on the latest developments in physical therapy through ongoing education and training.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I have been married for 12 years and we have three young boys who keep us busy and active. We enjoy going on hikes and bike rides together, and I’m always looking for new ways to stay active and challenge myself. I also have a passion for weightlifting and running. In my free time, I like to stay informed about the latest developments in various fields, including medicine, economics, and programming.
